What do you bring to Keypath Education as Vice President of Human Resources?
I’ve been fortunate in my career to have worked for several 100 Best Companies in America as well as several global Fortune 500 companies. I believe that experience will be valuable in helping Keypath Education realize its mission. Our HR strategy will be focused on creating a great place to work across the enterprise. Specifically, we will be focused on employee engagement, recruitment and employee development initiatives. We will leverage technology to deliver similar experiences regardless of location.
How do you measure your success?
Our initiatives in these focus areas should result in an employee group fully capable and enthusiastic to meet any challenge and growth opportunity, which will result in a strong company with strong financial results. Win-Win-Win!
What’s the best lesson you’ve learned in business?
Every manager is an HR manager and every employee is a leader. The HR function is just a facilitator.
What excites you about higher education?
It is a joy to work with such a bright group of people who are passionate about what they do, and who care about each other, our clients and our clients’ results. Our mission is so much nobler and compelling than “make a profit.” I’ve seen in my own life and my family’s lives the difference higher education has made in terms of opportunities, economic rewards and personal self-actualization.
What’s the one hobby you couldn’t live without?
I need to be able to get outside in green spaces to re-ground myself.
